How I Work
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. But I do believe in clarity, structure, and science-backed care.
01
Understand the Whole You
Whether through conversation or formal evaluation, we take time to see the full picture.
02
Use Proven Tools
We rely on evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and DBT to guide the process.
03
Focus on Self-Talk
Because what we say to ourselves, and what we stand for, shapes how we feel, relate, and live.
04
Stay Flexible
Your needs may change. So do our strategies. We adjust your care plan in real time as you grow.

What Makes Sylvester Consulting Different?
At Sylvester Consulting, therapy isn’t just about treatment—it's about insight, affirmation, and personalized action. We combine deep clinical expertise with cultural awareness to deliver care that truly fits you.
Deep Diagnostic Accuracy
We specialize in untangling complex or overlapping concerns like ADHD, Autism, trauma, and mood disorders, with comprehensive evaluations that go beyond checklists.
Non-Pharmacological Solutions

Culturally-Informed Practice
We offer care that respects and reflects your cultural, racial, and generational identity, especially for Black and minority clients navigating systemic stress.
Supervision & Mentorship
Dr. Sylvester brings years of clinical leadership to the training of emerging therapists, supporting them with the same depth and structure provided to clients.
Not Just Talk. Real Tools for Real Life.
Therapy at Sylvester Consulting isn’t just about venting. It’s about learning the “how” behind healing. Together, we’ll explore thought patterns, emotional triggers, and value-driven action plans that move you forward.
